Southern California’s wine country of Temecula is hosting dozens of events from Nov. 25 through Feb. 28 that celebrate winter activities, holidays and traditions as part of its annual WinterFest event.
“In November and December, and throughout January and February, WinterFest will be full of so much to see and do and celebrate,” said Kimberly Adams, Temecula Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau president and CEO. “From the streets of Downtown Old Town Temecula and Promenade Temecula to the rolling hills of Temecula Valley Wine Country, families and friends can come together, establish new traditions, and share the genuine, Southern California spirit of the season.”
Highlights include a display of holiday lights from Nov. 26 through Jan. 2 in Old Town Temecula (along Front Street from Moreno Road and Second Street) and Temecula Wine Valley Wine Country (Rancho California at Anza Road and the southern DePortola Wine Trail). An ice-skating rink will also be installed in Old Town Temecula’s Town Square and will operate from mid-December though Jan. 2. Other events include holiday wine tastings at various tasting rooms, a New Year’s Eve celebration in Old Town Temecula, visits from Santa, holiday shopping events and more.
