Home to a number of ski resorts, cities in Utah provide some of the best settings for snowmobiling excursions. A short drive from Salt Lake City, Daniels Summit resort takes advantage of its location, offering a number of guided and unguided tours, as well as a selection of snowmobiles, play areas and more than 200 miles of beginner to advanced trails.
A guided snowmobile tour is offered daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $129. During this two-hour activity, expert guides take groups through meadows and the Uinta National Forest.
Daniels Summit also offers a variety of packages for travelers who wish to stay overnight. The winter package, for example, includes one night in a queen room and two half-day snowmobile rentals, starting at $399.
After a day of playing in the snow, however, a full-body massage might just be in order. The resort’s mid-week Deluxe Winter package begins at $579 and includes one night in a queen room, two half-day snowmobile rentals and two, full-body massages.
