COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

The highest standards of safety and hygiene will be applied to Northstar events, both in the planning of the event, and its production and management onsite.

All events will be run according to official government and local authority guidance in the first instance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations.

It is our goal to create spaces where businesses and people can connect, learn, and grow. We believe these comprehensive standards will allow us to do so safely and securely.

Based on their recommendations the protocols may be adjusted. We will continue to keep all registered attendees updated.

WAVE Awards PROTOCOLS (updated 4/28/22)

Prior to receiving event credentials onsite, all attendees should be prepared to present event management with either proof of full vaccination or a negative antigen or PCR Covid-19 test taken within three days prior to entry to the WAVE Awards.

We will require that all attendees provide ONE of the following:

• Bring your Vaccine Record 

-OR-

• Provide  a NEGATIVE PCR Test report that indicates the test was taken BETWEEN June 7 and June 9, 2022

-OR-

• Upload a NEGATIVE Rapid-Antigen Test report that indicates the test was taken BETWEEN June 7 and June 9, 2022

  • The Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey has created a Commitment to Clean Plan which encompasses employee training, personal hygiene, cleaning products, personal protection equipment, a COVID-19 case approach, signage, physical distancing, guestroom entry, food and beverage services and event execution.

  • Some highlights include:


    •  Easily accessible sanitizing stations will be placed throughout high traffic areas.

    •  In public spaces, the company has added to its already rigorous cleaning protocols, requiring that surfaces are treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and that this cleaning is done with increased frequency. In guest rooms, Marriott has added to its detailed cleaning practices, requiring all surfaces to be thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants.
