At its 50th anniversary celebration, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) recognized some of the 115 U.S. luxury leisure travel agents in attendance.
Among the agents and agencies recognized were Randy Ney of Universal Travel for Highest FIT Booking by Agent; Altour – Palisades for the Top Brochure Sales by Agency; Casto Travel for the Highest Growth by Individual Agency; Valerie Wilson Travel for Highest Growth by Multi Agency; A.K. Taylor for Top Independent - Overall Sales; Protravel International for Top Multi Office Agency - Overall Sales; and Pat Garcia of Northridge Travel for Most Revenue by Agent Selling Seven Continents.
A&K’s president Phil Otterson also shared his outlook for the travel industry, which he reported is seeing strong sales for 2012. Otterson stated that A&K is enjoying growth of more than 20 percent, year over year.
