Amtrak Vacations Hosts Avoya Travel

On May 29, Amtrak Vacations hosted a seven-night fam trip for a group of Avoya Travel Independent Agency members and guests on its California Coast Independent Rail Journey. The trip began in San Diego and traveled up the coast on the Pacific Surfliner and Coast Starlight trains, with overnights in Los Angeles, Paso Robles and San Francisco.

“We were delighted and honored to be able to host the fam trip,” said Frank Marini, president of Amtrak Vacations. “To hear how much the independent affiliates enjoyed the rail experience brings a smile to my face. I find that so many customers and travel agents today are looking for a new unique experience, especially when traveling in the U.S., and rail travel is it.”
