If there is one hotel brand that knows how to throw a party fit for a rock star, it’s Hard Rock Hotels. To ring in the grand opening of the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs, the 163-room property, which had its soft opening in October, pulled out all the stops to make attendees and hotel guests feel like VIPs.
A headlining concert by the indie buzz band Phantogram, along with a DJ set by actor Anders Holm from the television show “Workaholics,” revealed that this is a Hard Rock for a new demographic of music fans: specifically, the festival-goers that flock to the greater Coachella Valley each year for The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
“Music festivals are an important part of who were are,” said Therese Everett, director of marketing and public relations at the hotel. “Our property, including our memorabilia, reflects what speaks to concert-goers.”
