The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA) recognized David Wilhite and Donna Magan, two team members of The Venetian, as Hospitality Heroes during the U.S. Travel Association's annual National Travel and Tourism Week.
Wilhite, a founding team member and respected table games dealer of The Venetian, recently underwent months of chemotherapy treatment and is admired among his fellow team members for his courage through personal challenges.
"I've never had a negative attitude in 25 years of being in the business," said Wilhite. "I really enjoy coming to work everyday."
Magan, front desk agent for the Venetian, is heralded by her team members as a role model, mentor, leader and a friend.
"I love The Venetian," said Magan. "I've been here for eight years and have no intentions of going anywhere else."
