Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America, recently invited members of the National Tour Association (NTA) to a weeklong tour of the Holy Land. This followed NTA’s recent naming of Israel as “Faith Destination of the Year.” While touring the country, NTA members visited Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the Galilee and Masada.
Both the NTA’s recent recognition of Israel and the tour arrive in time for Israel’s 65th anniversary. Beginning April 15, the country will be celebrating with special Independence Day festivities, and it also hopes to attract a great deal of tourism this year.
