The San Francisco Travel Association has promoted Hubertus Funke to vice president. He has served as the organization’s director of international tourism for Europe and Latin America since 2007.
“Hubertus has done an outstanding job in all aspects of his position, including client relations, strategic planning, budgeting and execution,” said Tom Kiely, executive vice president of tourism for The San Francisco Travel Association. “In his elevated role, he will take on a much more strategic function in how San Francisco Travel attracts key visitors to our city.”
