Northern California Hawaii Ohana held its annual Mahalo events for Northern California travel advisors in Fresno and Sacramento at the end of July. Top-selling Hawaii travel advisors were invited to attend island chapter updates offered by the Oahu Visitors Bureau, Kauai Visitors Bureau, Maui Visitors Bureau and the Hawaii Island Visitors Bureau. The events were followed by a trade show consisting of the Northern California Hawaii Ohana members, along with dinner and Hawaiian entertainment.
“The events are put on primarily as a thank you to our top-selling Hawaii travel advisors and are a way to promote the destination along with our respective businesses,” said Deaner Snively, president of Northern California Hawaii Ohana and senior account executive for Marriott International. “We are a nonprofit club, and all members are volunteers.”
