Pre-qualified travel advisors who are interested in meeting new suppliers, networking with top-producing peers and building upon existing relationships are officially invited to apply for the annual Global Travel Marketplace (GTM) and Global Travel Marketplace West (GTM West) events, produced by Northstar Travel Group (the parent company of TravelAge West).
Here's what you need to know about the upcoming events.
Where and When Do GTM and GTM West Take Place?
GTM West will be held March 2-4, 2022, at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz., while GTM will take place July 28-30, 2022, at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Fla.
Who Is Qualified to Go to These Events?
To qualify for GTM, agents must make a minimum of $1 million in annual sales; for GTM West, annual sales must total at least $800,000. Owners of multimillion-dollar agencies are also invited to apply if they are actively booking travel. All attendees must be able to make product and partner decisions on behalf of their business.
Approximately 100-125 advisors will be hand-selected to participate in GTM, and 100 will be selected for GTM West.
"GTM continues to attract the best in the business each year,” said Alicia Evanko-Lewis, executive vice president of global events for the Travel Group at Northstar Travel Group. “These are serious travel professionals whose businesses survived a pandemic, who are looking to continue to grow, innovate and build new relationships. We’re excited to see what this year brings and the connections that will form as a result of the incomparable networking opportunities at GTM."

What Are Past Attendees Saying About the Event?
Global Travel Marketplace has a reputation for being one of the top events in the industry.
“I am invited to a number of events each year, and this is the only one I clear my schedule for,” said Carolyn Kempf of Elite Travel Inc. “I learn about new products, get fresh ideas, and am invigorated to succeed. For those newer to the industry, GTM fast-forwards you into the future of travel and gives you priceless connections. For those who are veterans, it reminds us we do not know it all, and that evolution is always necessary to keep yourself and your business fresh.”
