From Dec. 5-8, 2022, International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Portfolio hosted its global flagship event, ILTM Cannes, in France.

This year’s event brought together more than 3,600 luxury travel professionals from 77 countries for a program of dedicated meetings and networking events. ILTM also used the opportunity to release a global industry research report with insights on the high-end travel market.

“We launched the first part of this research at ILTM Asia Pacific earlier this year, and in this global edition, it was interesting to see that not only are traveler demands higher than ever, but that travel advisors are now often expected to deal with various new responsibilities that they may not have had before,” said Alison Gilmore, director of ILTM Portfolio. “Their expertise is being recognized, and advisors are becoming even more integral for the global affluent, with 59% planning to use travel advisors for half or more of their holiday bookings over the next year.”
