On May 3, Turkish Airlines hosted a special gala in Los Angeles at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, celebrating Turkish culture, cuisine and creative talent.
The event featured a dinner by Wolfgang Puck Catering (and an appearance from the celebrity chef himself), along with an art exhibition; a DJ set by Turkish DJ Mahmut Orhan; and a live musical performance by Burak Besir, a Turkish flutist.
“It’s a timely opportunity to come together and shine a spotlight on Turkiye, a beautiful country filled with incredible tourist experiences,” said Dr. Ahmet Bolat, chairman of the board for Turkish Airlines. “As we gather to celebrate significant milestones for our republic and national flag carrier, we also hope to bring awareness to Istanbul and surrounding attractions to visit, and to welcome travelers. Turkish Airlines invites everyone to widen their world and experience our world-class services and amenities, along with our world-famous Turkish hospitality.”
