Gogo Vacations Launches South America Packages

Earlier this month, Gogo Vacations added tours and hotel packages in Chile, Ecuador (including the Galapagos Islands), Argentina, Peru and Brazil. Here are the highlights of Gogo's new offerings in South America.

Argentina: Voyages to the End of the World
With the 11-day Argentina: Voyages to the End of the World escorted tour, clients will spend time in Buenos Aires, the Peninsula Valdes, El Calafate and Trelew. They will also view the iconic Iguassu Falls that border Brazil and Argentina and see the colony of Magellanic penguins that call the Punta Tombo peninsula home. Pricing begins at $2,185, per person, based on double occupancy.

Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Located in the heart of Buenos Aires, this modern high-rise hotel is situated across from the British Clock Tower, close to shopping, fine dining and other attractions. The four-night package includes roundtrip transfers, daily buffet breakfast and hotel taxes and service charges. Prices begin at $475, per person, based on double occupancy.

Hotel La Cascada (Bariloche, Argentina)

The four-star Hotel La Casada offers the privacy of 24 guestrooms with exceptional views of the Nahuel Huapi Lake, a waterfall or a three-acre park. Starting at $179 plus taxes and fees, clients get accommodations for three nights (with the third night free), daily buffet breakfast and roundtrip transfers.

Enigmas of Peru  
The 12-day Enigmas of Peru escorted tour takes guests to Lima, the Sacred Valley, the Ballesta Islands, Cusco, the Umayo Lake, the Santo Domingo Convent and the Machu Picchu holy site in the Andes Mountains, as well as several other attractions. Exclusive of taxes and fees, the package starts at $2,595 per person.

Sonesta Posada del Inca Yucay Hotel (Sacred Valley, Peru)

This colonial-style hotel and former monastery features landscaped courtyards, stone walkways and an ideal location in the heart of the Sacred Valley. The package, priced at $275, includes accommodations for four nights, roundtrip transfers, daily buffet breakfast and hotel taxes and fees.

Beautiful Brazil  
The 12-day Beautiful Brazil escorted tour features Rio de Janeiro, a day touring the Sugar Loaf and Corcovado mountains to view the Christ the Redeemer statue, Iguassu Falls, Ouro Puerto, Belo Horizonte, Salvador de Bahia and more. Pricing begins at $2,595, per person, plus taxes and fees.

Hilton Sao Paulo Morumbi (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Located in Sao Paulo's central business district, the four-star Hilton Sao Paulo Morumbi features contemporary guestrooms with marble baths and city or river views. Starting at $1,099, exclusive of taxes and fees, the package includes accommodations for four nights, daily buffet breakfast, roundtrip transfers and hotel taxes and service charges.

Wonders of Chile  
The Wonders of Chile escorted tour takes guests to the El Tatio Geysers in the Atacama Desert, Santiago, Valparaiso, the famous Concha y Toro winery, the Yerba Loca Nature Sanctuary, the small village of San Pedro de Atacama and more. The eight-day tour begins at $999, plus taxes and fees.

W Hotel Santiago   

Located in Santiago's prestigious El Golf neighborhood, the W Hotel Santiago features sleek guestrooms with glass-enclosed showers, the latest tech amenities and floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel package, priced from $715, includes accommodations for four nights, daily buffet breakfast and roundtrip transfers.

Ecuador Tour  
The nine-day Ecuador Tour features Quito and the Quito Historic Centre, the Galapagos Islands, Imbabura, the waterfalls of Peguche, Cotopaxi National Park and Limpiopungo Lagoon as well as other attractions. The escorted tour, exclusive of taxes and fees, is priced from $1,045.

Altiplanico Rapa Nui (Easter Island, Ecuador)
Easter Island's iconic monoliths are just a short stroll from the Altiplanico Rapa Nui resort hotel on the island's west coast. Linked by exterior corridors of stone, sand or grass, guestrooms feature indoor-outdoor baths, private terraces and ocean views. The four-night package includes daily buffet breakfast and hotel transfers.
