Location and History

Cleverly dug out of a sandstone cliff, Cap Rocat is what remains of a 19th-century fortress to protect the Bay of Palma. Once past the drawbridge, designers had their way with this impressive stone rampart, remodeling it from head to toe. Still, its former glory is evident throughout the property, in small alcoves, outdoor spaces and most notably in some of the Sentinels suites, former battlements carved out of the rock.
