Location and History

Built in 1568 as a private residence, Villa d'Este has been a hotel since the 1800s. It resides on a dreamy lakeside plot on the northern edge of Cernobbio, within earshot of the Il Redentore, a few minutes farther (but a world away) from the stylish Sheraton.
