Located across the road from Smathers Beach (one of the best here) on the eastern end of the island, this former Barbary Beach House is now part of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. Blessed with a bubbly, family-friendly vibe, Margaritaville Beach House Key West is certainly a tropical island retreat, though its Key West affiliate represents one of the more subdued offerings from this chain.
