On Mirror Lake 200 yards north of Main Street in Lake Placid, this property straddles the ground between the High Peaks Resort, Crowne Plaza Lake Placid Resort and the more comparable Lake Placid Lodge. And like the Lake Placid Lodge, this lodge is done up in its original rustic style, but with the added advantage of a modern infrastructure. (The plumbing is powerful, soundproofing is effective.)
