Location and History

This brick and glass hotel sits on 500 green acres and bills itself as a wine-country wellness retreat. Easy to get to via the Dulles Access Road (VA 267 W), it is located just 30 miles from downtown D.C.

Although it is situated along the Potomac River, the resort is set within a residential, office and hospital complex that feels a bit more suburban than scenic. However, its spa and guest rooms make it feel like a retreat.
