Location and History

Originally part of a larger complex that opened in 1976, Sofitel split it into two properties in 1982, with its more traditional sibling Sofitel Marrakech Palais Imperial next door. This was the extension that was added later to up the room count and appeal to more groups. While the hotels are linked internally and many public areas including pools, spa, disco and restaurants are shared, each hotel has its own entrance and style.
