Location and History

With only 14 rooms, this mansion is unlike most other hotels in town bringing with it southern charm and plenty of local history. It dates back nearly two centuries, but you can hardly tell thanks to the urbane redesign of its interiors.

The hotel sits in the charming Garden District along the chic St. Charles Avenue and is ringed by other stately homes and buildings. Architect Thomas Sully created the design for golfer Henry Picard and his family.
