Set back off A1A and about 45 minutes from Jacksonville, in the second-largest golf resort in the U.S. after Pinehurst, this elaborate property is affiliated with Sawgrass Country Club. Though it fails to reach the refinement of the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, it is undeniably one of Florida's finer golf resorts and one of Marriott's better options.
