Location and History

In an enviable location, just up from Piazza Barberini and Bernini's Triton fountain, near the U.S. Embassy and adjacent to the Hard Rock Cafe, this hotel was designed by Carlo Busiri Vici and built in 1901 to host ambassadors visiting the city. It later became the library for the American embassy before turning into the Ambasciatori Palace Hotel. IHG's arrival has delivered major investments that return the building to its former glory.
