This hotel may not live up to the illustrious reputation of the Maria Cristina, but its location trumps the latter's river views, even if service there is more attentive.

It takes just about five minutes to reach the old town from this place, and views from this beautiful building overlook La Concha Bay. The blustery winds often experienced near the old town are less likely here given the protection from the bay.
