Sol Melia's Paradisus resort brand is expanding its portfolio with two new Mexico properties, the Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda and the Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla, scheduled to open in late 2011. Located in Playa del Carmen, the resort facilities will include free-form pools, artful landscapes, a YHI Spa, 12 restaurants, 10 bars, the Palapa Activities Center, a theater, a ballroom and a total of 25,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.
