Location and History
The hotel is located in the historic center of Valletta, next to restaurants, bars, shops and the most important monuments of the city. It's a couple minutes' walk from the Upper Barracca Gardens and a 20-minute drive to Malta International Airport.
The building dates back to 1633 when it was known as Casa Penza and used by various knights of Italian descent. Later, it became property of Sir Giuseppe Nicole Zamitt, whose portrait is seen at the lobby.
