The Family Travel Association (FTA) recently announced a new monthly Travel Insights webinar series designed to give attendees a clear view of the future of travel. These virtual panel discussions will include a wide range of experts and will revolve around topics of interest to stakeholders throughout the industry, including travel advisors, suppliers and the media.

“With our access to some of the leading innovators and experts on the subject of family travel, providing our members and the industry at large with programs that promote professional development is now more important than ever,” said Rainer Jenss, founder of the FTA.

The first webinar will be held on March 16 as part of the virtual Family Travel Expo hosted in coordination with TravelAge West. Called “Forecasting Summer Travel: What Does a Q3 Recovery Look Like?” the discussion will be moderated by Kenneth Shapiro, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of TravelAge West, and will include Jenss, as well as representatives from Visit California, the Dude Ranchers Association and other organizations.

“I’m looking forward to hearing from experts as we try to get a clear picture of what to expect in the second half of this year,” Shapiro said. “While many people expect to see the beginning of a travel recovery, there are still a lot of questions about what a resurgence might look like.”

Future FTA webinar topics include: What You Need to Know About Travel Insurance for Planning Your Family Vacation; Top Tips and Tactics for Marketing Family Travel; Media Roundtable: Trends and Opportunities in 2021 and Beyond; and Using Social Media to Drive Revenue From Family Travel.

The FTA is providing these virtual educational experiences to members and prospective members free of charge.

“This series is an example of one of the many resources the FTA offers,” Jenss said.

Advisors can register for the Family Travel Expo online and can visit the FTA website for more information on its Travel Insights webinar series.
