The Family Travel Association (FTA) and TravelAge West recently announced that they will be partnering on a new virtual event. Called the Family Travel Digital Expo, the conference will take place on Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PST and will feature education, networking and more.

“According to recent surveys, family travel is going to be an important market as the travel industry recovers from the pandemic,” said Kenneth Shapiro, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of TravelAge West. “We are so happy to have a new way to help travel advisors keep up to date on this major market.”

Prior to the expo, the FTA will host the Family Travel Association Spotlight, which will introduce members and non-members to the latest developments at the organization. The event will also feature new family travel research; updates from top suppliers; best practices for travel advisors and media; and more. The Family Travel Association Spotlight will take place immediately before the expo, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. PST on Nov. 30.

“We’re excited to be partnering with TravelAge West to produce an event that puts a spotlight on the people and opportunities shaping the future of our segment of the industry,” said Rainer Jenss, founder of the FTA.
