G Adventures is helping travel advisors start their year with a bang: The tour operator’s annual agent incentive program, G-Normous, has returned for its ninth consecutive year, offering a prize pot of $75,000 in cash and other rewards.

Running through April 30, the program offers advisors the chance to win prizes each month, and invites them to compete in a series of community challenges. A grand prize of $5,000 will also be awarded to the agent who sells the most trips. (Full prize details can be found here.)

During each month of the program, G-Normous will feature a different selling focus and tourism board sponsor, with special offers and incentives to help travel agents sell. For January, the company is offering up to 25% off more than 400 global vacations through the Great Adventure Sale, with Colombia’s tourism board featured as the month’s sponsor.

Travel agents are more indispensable than ever, helping travelers decipher a host of ever-changing protocols and regulations in our current travel landscape.

For the first time, G-Normous also includes monthly community challenges, through which agents can win $4,000 in cash and prizes. Through the interactive challenges, advisors will show off their travel knowledge, share stories and nominate peers who have excelled over the past year. Monthly challenge information can be found on G Adventures’ Agents of Change Facebook group page.

“We know that the past year has been a roller coaster for travel agents,” said Jenn Stevens, U.S. trade marketing manager for G Adventures. “Travel agents are more indispensable than ever, helping travelers decipher a host of ever-changing protocols and regulations in our current travel landscape. So, we wanted to make this year’s G-Normous incentive the biggest yet, as a way to say ‘thank you’ for the work that these unsung travel heroes are doing daily.”

All advisors with a G Adventures Sherpa account are automatically registered for G-Normous, and will receive an entry for every client booked on a G Adventures trip from Jan. 1 – April 30. Agents without a Sherpa account must register through their agency manager to participate.
