Host agency SmartFlyer has launched SmartFlyer Latin America, marking its entrance into the region’s luxury travel market.

The new venture will consist of partnerships with regional operators and entrepreneurs paired with SmartFlyer’s global infrastructure, partner network and technology platforms. ALTE Travel Group, a Mexico-based luxury travel agency, will serve as the in-market operational backbone. The result? A unified offering that’s a win-win for advisors and clients across borders.

“Latin America is home to some of the world’s most sophisticated travelers, and this partnership brings together an extraordinary group of founders who have earned that trust over time,” said Erina Pindar, managing partner and COO of SmartFlyer.

SmartFlyer Latin America’s founding partners include ALTE’s Andrea Lomeli, Eduardo Santoy, Magda Fernandez, and Gaby Galvez, plus Juan Carlos Coppel, Lorenia Bay, Carlos Alvarez and Ana Laura Melhem. Together, the group brings regional authority along with leadership and luxury travel experience; it also reinforces the agency’s commitment to preserving the local expertise and cultural fluency that define exceptional travel.

Instead of acquiring other companies or replicating existing business models, SmartFlyer's approach to expansion emphasizes collaboration in international markets and emphasizes the scalability of the agency’s platform.

“What makes this moment so meaningful is the opportunity to build something that reflects how we’ve always worked — highly personalized, deeply considered and relationship-driven,” said Gaby Galvez, founding partner of SmartFlyer Latin America. “With SmartFlyer’s platform behind us, we’re able to scale that approach without losing what makes it special and provide Latin America agencies greater support, and the clients a more seamless experience across markets.”

In the ever-evolving world of global travel, SmartFlyer is betting on thoughtful growth and strategic partnerships.
