Editor's Note: The deadline for photo submissions has been extended to Nov. 18, 2022.

After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TravelAge West has once again begun accepting entries for its annual Reader Photo Contest. Travel advisor readers are invited to submit their best original travel photography. Winners will receive cash prizes and have their photos published in an upcoming issue of TravelAge West.

"These days, the savviest travel advisors know that capturing high-quality imagery during fam trips is a crucial marketing tool,” said Mindy Poder, Executive Editor at TravelAge West. “But we recognize that taking excellent photographs is a cultivated skill that that requires work, dedication and talent — and we want to honor that.”

Editors at the magazine will consider photograph quality — composition, lighting and other aesthetic elements — as well as the subject matter and the originality of the photograph.
