Collette Announces New Booking Incentive for Travel Agents

What: Collette Is Offering a New Travel Advisor Booking Incentive

Global tour operator Collette recently announced a new booking incentive for travel advisors that will help them earn more on clients’ trips within the U.S. Advisors will receive $500 for every five new domestic bookings (single or double) for 2021 travel in the U.S. and $1,500 for every 10 total new bookings (with a required minimum of five new bookings in the U.S.) for 2021 travel. The incentive will be offered now through June 30 for any travel taking place prior to Dec. 31, 2021. The offer is combinable with the Advanced Commission Program, where agents can receive partial payments prior to their client’s departure date.

Why It Matters: Demand Is Rising for Domestic Travel This Summer

Most recent traveler surveys show an increased interest in travel — especially domestic vacations — this summer. For instance, according to the latest Longwoods International tracking study of American travelers, 88% of respondents now have travel plans in the next six months, the highest level in more than a year. Collette, which has a long and trustworthy history with advisors, is providing an easy-to-book and profitable option for advisors looking to capitalize on current traveler trends.

Fast Facts:

-These incentives will be paid within 30 days following the quarter that the qualifying bookings have traveled.

-A booking is defined as a minimum of two full-paying passengers in a double room or a single passenger in a single room.

-All payments are payable per agent and bookings cannot be combined with other agency bookings.

What They Are Saying: An Opportunity for Advisors to Earn More

“With the ongoing vaccine roll-out, and domestic travel in high demand, we want to give agents the opportunity to earn more on the travel experiences that their clients want now,” said Christian Leibl-Cote, senior vice president of global business for Collette.
