AIANTA Reveals the Top 10 Indigenous Experiences in the U.S.

The American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA) has put together its list of the Top 10 Indigenous Experiences of 2025, showcasing a diverse range of authentic and immersive cultural tourism offerings. Spanning events, historical sites, outdoor adventures and more, the list covers experiences across the United States that showcase the traditions, heritage and lives of Indigenous communities. 

A few highlights include Inn of the Mountain Gods in New Mexico, named the Indigenous Destination of the Year; Choctaw Cultural Center in Oklahoma, listed as 2025’s Best Cultural Heritage Experience; adventurous experiences at Fire Mountain Trails in North Carolina; The Ute Indian Museum in Colorado; the natural beauty of Pyramid Lake in Nevada; and more.
