Around her home base of Los Angeles, she can often be found hitting the beach, trying new restaurants, exploring local film and television culture, testing out recipes in her home kitchen or enjoying downtime with her husband and cat. She's an animal lover, an avid reader and an enthusiastic home cook and baker. In her writing, she is especially passionate about promoting sustainable and responsible tourism, exploring local cuisine and highlighting diverse cultural perspectives (such as in her award-winning story on Indigenous travel).
