What:Classic Vacations recently relaunched its Custom Proposal tool with several key enhancements. The online tool can be used by travel advisors to create a list of possible destinations, hotels and excursions to present a curated proposal for their clients. Agents can add their own logos and contact information and then share the proposal via a link, email or social media.
Why It Matters:Without a doubt, customization is one of the most important trends in travel planning, so anything that makes this easier for advisors is a step forward. In addition, Classic says that many of the innovations in its revamped tool came from agents’ suggestions. This is a great indication that the new process will be improved, and it also shows that Classic understands how to truly support its agent partners.
Fast Facts:- Travel advisors can now download the entire proposal as a PDF in order to print or include with other travel documents.
- Agents can also create pre- and post-cruise recommendations; destination weddings proposals; “best of” destination lists; and ready-made sell sheets for common travel requests.
- In addition, Classic recently introduced the “Custom Item” feature, which allows advisors to add their own products and content not found on the Classic Vacations’ website, such as cruise or rail tickets.
