The Travel Exchange comes to Los Angeles Feb. 16 to 20, combining the NTA Convention and the UMA Motorcoach Expo into one dynamic, five-day event. This year, the NTA has added a travel agent program to the roster, slated for Feb. 19 and 20.
Highlights of the travel agent event include a roundtable networking session with tour operators, educational seminars, social functions with more than 3,600 tour suppliers from around the world. Agents will also have opportunities to meet NTA destination representatives to discuss accommodations, dining and attractions of various locations. Norwegian Cruise Line and Alaska will sponsor Wednesday’s lunch, and G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip will be the keynote speaker on Thursday.
“Travel agents and tour operators are already great tourism partners, and now we’ve got a place where we can strengthen those relationships while building new business together—Travel Exchange,” said Suzanne Slavitter, CTP, CTIE, owner of Sports Empire and chair of the NTA Travel Agent Task Force.
