Luxury bilingual line Compagnie du Ponant is featuring winter season 2013-2014 itineraries to Asia on Le Soleal, the company’s newest ship. Launched in July with a series of polar expedition cruises, the 164-passenger ship is offering 13 new itineraries of seven- to 17-nights in Asia. Le Soleal can berth in ports larger ships cannot use, giving guests access to experiences not found on most itineraries. Cruises visit Vietnam’s imperial cities, Malaysia, Myanmar, the islands of Indonesia and the urban centers of Singapore and Hong Kong.
Like her sister ships, Le Soleal has elegant, contemporary interiors designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel and works by noted marine photographer Philip Plisson. The 132 staterooms and suites include the elite Deck 6 that is home to 13 spacious suites with 24-hour butler service.
