This holiday season, Royal Caribbean International is encouraging cruisers to spend their winter vacations onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise with their closest family and friends.
“All too often, people get stressed out with holiday preparation and entertaining. Royal Caribbean takes care of all this work, providing guests the opportunity to relax and truly enjoy the holiday season with their loved ones,” said Betsy O’Rourke, senior vice president of marketing for Royal Caribbean International.
During Hanukkah, a rabbi will sail onboard each ship to conduct a nightly menorah lighting ceremony. During Christmas, a Catholic priest will sail onboard each ship to lead holiday observances. Holiday activities include movie screenings, caroling, cookie decorating and holiday ice skating. One such Christmas sailing takes place onboard the brand-new Allure of the Seas, which offers a seven-night roundtrip Western Caribbean Holiday itinerary departing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Dec. 18.
Families can also ring in the New Year with a Cruise Director and Captain’s Countdown party in every onboard lounge for each of the line’s ships. Younger cruisers can take part in an extended late-night party zone just for kids and teens. Mariner of the Seas is offering a New Year’s-themed Mexican Riviera itinerary for seven nights, sailing out of Los Angeles.
