Teens (and parents) crave more than gaming lounges and dance clubs from all-inclusives, and the industry is finally catching up. Think: Hands-on, immersive experiences that spark curiosity, build skills and boost confidence. From scuba certification and conservation projects to horseback riding and sailing expeditions, these seven all-inclusives give teens adventure with purpose.

Vomo Island, Fiji

Vomo Island Fiji is an all-inclusive private island escape that feels both elevated for adults and genuinely engaging for teens. Set on 225 acres, the resort is easy to reach via a 15-minute helicopter ride from the airport or a 35-minute speedboat ride from Vuda Marina. Accommodations include 34 spacious villas and six private residences.

For teens and tweens, Club V — for those ages 10 and older — leans into hands-on fun, with activities such as Fijian cooking classes, kite making, guided paddling and coral planting. A short Mount Vomo hike rewards early risers with sweeping sunrise views across the Pacific, while the Kids Village restaurant serves crowd-pleasers such as dips and crudites, bento boxes, stir-fry dishes, pizza and pastas.

Beaches Resorts, Turks and Caicos; Jamaica

Beaches Turks & Caicos and Beaches Negril blend classic all-inclusive fun such as waterslides and gaming lounges with more meaningful, skill-building experiences. But first, accommodations: The Turks and Caicos resort goes big, with 858 rooms and a sprawling, village-style layout, while the 197-room Negril property is more laid-back and easy to navigate.

For teens and tweens, scuba is the standout activity. First-time divers ages 10 and older can try a three-hour scuba discovery experience or work toward full certification by completing coursework ahead of arrival. Certified teens can dive up to twice daily. Kids ages 8 to 12 can join the Ocean Explorer program, which focuses on marine life, conservation and hands-on environmental projects.

Cottar’s Safaris, Kenya

Cottar’s Safaris operates luxury safari camps in Kenya’s Maasai Mara wilderness, including Cottar’s 1920s Camp, set on some 7,000 acres within the Olderkesi Conservancy. The intimate camp features 11 en-suite canvas tents with vintage styling, private butler service and sweeping savannah views, plus access to a dedicated pool for the villa.

Cottar’s Tracks for Tomorrow program, a five-day, privately guided conservation experience for those ages 14 to 18, turns a safari into a hands-on, purpose-forward adventure. Teens track wildlife with expert guides, take part in seed-ball reforestation and tackle sustainability challenges, such as designing a low-impact, eco-friendly camp. Visits to cheetah and raptor centers, bush walks and foraging excursions round out the week. Every activity helps teens think critically about sustainability and their carbon footprint.

The Ranch at Rock Creek, U.S.

The Ranch at Rock Creek sprawls across 6,600 acres of Montana wilderness and features 31 luxury accommodations, from comfortable Granite Lodge guestrooms and multi-room log homes to custom canvas glamping tents, all styled with high-end Western decor. Clients can enjoy all-inclusive amenities including farm-to-table dining, complimentary bicycles for navigating the ranch and twice-daily housekeeping.

Teens will find their spot at the Silver Dollar Saloon, with bowling, shuffleboard, a private movie theater and board games, while outdoor adventures beckon with horseback riding, fly fishing, sporting clays and orienteering. Hands-on programs cover photography, survival skills and naturalist science, including tracking elk and bighorn sheep. Seasonal highlights such as weekly summer rodeos and barn dances immerse families in authentic Montana culture.

Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Mexico

Grand Velas Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, offers 539 ultra-spacious suites across three separate zones, including two for families: the beachfront Ambassador and the mangrove-set Zen Grand. All accommodations feature spa-style bathrooms and 24-hour butler service.

For teens (those ages 12 and older), the newly renovated Teens Club blends classic entertainment, such as video gaming pods, air hockey and foosball, with leveled-up experiences, including a social media studio with ring lights for content creation and a golf simulator where guests can take lessons or join tournaments. Hands-on workshops include mocktail mixology, guacamole- and sushi-making, and Huichol beading, alongside wellness-focused activities such as skincare and facial sessions.

Sea Quest, Italy

Sea Quest, a program from Alphabet International Camps, offers a unique sailing expedition program for teens ages 12 to 16, combining adventure, skill-building and cultural immersion. Based out of Rome, the weeklong program is fully boat-based, with teens living and serving as active crew onboard 46-foot yachts in shared double cabins — completely independent of parents.

The expedition sails through the Pontine Islands and along the Amalfi Coast. The all-inclusive experience includes daily sailing lessons and hands-on nautical skills training with certified instructors, alongside onshore excursions to historic sites such as Aragonese Castle in Ischia and the Blue Grotto in Capri. Teens will rotate at the helm, practice basic navigational skills, learn to set sails and drop anchors, and study marine ecology.

Hacienda AltaGracia, Costa Rica

Hacienda AltaGracia, an Auberge Collection property, spans 180 acres of tropical forest in Costa Rica’s Talamanca Mountains. This luxury all-inclusive offers 50 private casitas, including two-bedroom options with terraces and plunge pools. Rates include shared charter flights from San Jose Mineta International airport to the resort’s private airstrip, unlimited spa access and a dedicated butler.

For those ages 14 to 17, The AltaGracia Discovery Series for Teens features hands-on independent adventures. Teens tackle tree-climbing, mastering ropes, knots and safe vertical movement. Guided nocturnal jungle walks reveal wildlife such as frogs, spiders and snakes. Kids can also ride horses and learn about equine care, explore trails on e-mountain bikes and join cultural workshops such as chocolate-making sessions and coffee farm visits.
