This summer, Royal Caribbean International (RCI) is welcoming its 50 millionth guest onboard its fleet of 21 ships. Rather than honoring its one record-breaking guest, the line launched a yearlong celebration starting on Aug. 12, honoring all guests, agents and employees. The New Year’s Eve-style party began on RCI ships on Australian time and carried over to the rest of the company’s vessels.
“Agents booked more than 40 million of these guests,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president, sales, trade support and services.
During the yearlong celebration, consumers can post stories of their adventures on RCI on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram along with stories about their favorite agents, with the hashtag #RoyalWow. Agents can also share their stories on RCI’s newly relaunched website: LoyaltoYouAlways.com.
