CCRA Travel Solutions recently released a list of the top 10 U.S. and international cities for travel in spring and summer this year. The company’s findings were based on travel agent bookings made through its hotel reservation portal. The cities listed received the greatest number of reservations on the CCRA website for travel from March 20 to Sept. 22.
“Our spring and summer hotel booking trends reveal that consumers are traveling to many of the same cities that were popular for summer vacations in 2013 and that they are continuing to seek the expert advice and unique knowledge that travel professionals bring in planning trips to these leading U.S. and international destinations,” said Dic Marxen, president and CEO of CCRA Travel Solutions.
The top U.S. cities were: Las Vegas; New York; Orlando, Fla; New Orleans; San Diego, Calif.; Chicago; Miami; Atlanta; Fort Lauderdale, Fla; and Kissimmee, Fla. The top international cities were: Paris; Rome; Vancouver, Canada; London; Barcelona, Spain; Amsterdam; Venice, Italy; Florence, Italy; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Madrid, Spain. Chicago, Kissimmee and Copenhagen were new additions to the list.
