Where: The Grand Oasis Palm (formerly the Grand Oasis Caribbean) and Oasis Palm (formerly the Oasis Palm Beach) are neighboring properties located in Cancun, Mexico’s, hotel zone. The resorts are only 20 minutes from the Cancun airport and are right near the ferry pier for daily departures to Isla Mujeres.
What: Both all-inclusive resorts, part of the Oasis Hotels & Resorts chain, are designed with families in mind. They offer comfortable accommodations, a top-notch kids’ club and plenty of on-property activities, all at very affordable prices.
Guestrooms: The Grand Oasis has 365 rooms and is a bit more luxurious than its sister property, the Oasis Palm (470 rooms). Both properties offer new family suites featuring connecting rooms with one room specially designed for the kids. These rooms either have a jungle or under-the-sea motif, complete with elaborate murals on the walls. The resorts also offer three-room connecting suites that are ideal for multigenerational groups where the grandparents can stay in one room, the parents in another and the kids can be on their own in between.
Fun for Kids: The two properties share the elaborate kids’ club located at the Oasis Palm, which features a pool with a water slide, a play structure, a kid-friendly cafeteria, cooking lessons, a disco, movies, a game room with Wii and Xbox consoles, arts and crafts areas and more. The club also offers an overnight sleepover “camp,” where the kids can enjoy a supervised sleepover on bunkbeds while parents have some together time for an evening.
