Carnival Cruise Lines has brought out an enhancement to its travel agent Web portal designed to provide agents with a convenient means of managing their group bookings electronically.
Through the new tool, available within BookCCL.com and other electronic channels supported by Carnival, agents can perform functions that previously had to be done over the phone through the line’s group reservations department.
These functions include selecting and modifying cabin assignments and categories, entering and modifying guest detail information, assigning or modifying cities for “FlyAweigh” air supplements and submitting cruise payment information by posting a credit card payment or a check number. Agents can also assign or modify pre- and post-cruise land packages, assign pre-paid gratuities and Carnival’s Vacation Protection Plan online, and view or request a cabin level account summary.
Sailings effective Sept. 1 and beyond are accessible through BookCCL.com for agents to manage their group cabins.

Oceania Cruises has introduced the new Travel Agent Dashboard to create and manage reservations online. The Dashboard allows agents to manage any reservation, regardless of whether it was made online or over the phone.
In addition to the basic functions of reserving a cruise, making payments or modifying a reservation, agents can now add options including shore excursion packages, a la carte excursions and private cabanas on board. The tool also allows agents to view itemized invoices, cruise itineraries and air schedules, request and confirm air deviations and complete guest registration forms, as well as sending bon voyage gifts.
