The name “Clipper” is synonymous with adventure, and the line’s
new itineraries announced for Fall/Winter 2005-2006 are living up
to that description. The 122-passenger Clipper Adventurer, with its
ice-strengthened hull and advanced satellite navigational
equipment, can literally sail to the ends of the earth. This fall
and winter, the ship is practically doing just that with a series
of voyages from the Panama Canal to the Antarctic Peninsula.
The cruises include: The 13-day Exploring the Route of the
Conquistadors, which follows the route of the 16th century Spanish
explorers from Panama to Peru. After a Panama Canal crossing,
guests will visit the Darien Jungle, the home of an incredible
array of wildlife species. Zodiac landing craft will enable

The 16-day Discover Antarctica cruise combines overnights in
Santiago and Buenos Aires with an expeditionary voyage along the
Antarctic Peninsula. Onboard experts will host lectures and
excursions focusing on the area’s wildlife, which includes seals,
whales, seabirds, and huge colonies of penguins. The cruise departs
on Nov. 9, and fares start at $6,320 per person, double
occupancy.
The 16-day Expedition to Antarctica and the Falkland Islands
cruise combines five days along the Antarctic Peninsula with
Elephant Island and the Falkland Islands. The voyage will provide a
unique opportunity to encounter wildlife species that exist only in
the Southern Hemisphere. The cruise departs on Nov. 20, or Feb.12,
2006, with fares starting at $6,560 per person, double
