Silversea Cruises has announced that it is including shore excursions and Wi-Fi on all 52 of its Mediterranean cruises this year, for bookings made from January 15 on. These include five- to 10-night cruises on Silver Cloud, Silver Wind and Silver Spirit. Itineraries begin in Venice, Istanbul, Rome, Athens, Barcelona and Lisbon, and depending on the cruise, passengers will overnight in ports such as Saint Tropez, France; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kotor, Montenegro; and Sorrento, Italy.

The included Silver Shore Select excursions are offered in every port of call. Tour participants explore attractions with local guides and transportation is provided. Guests may choose to purchase other types of tours, including small-group, highly immersive Silver Shore Collection excursions that include alternate modes of transportation, from vintage train to Segways. Silver Shore Privato tours are also for sale and whisk passengers away in a private car with their own driver and guide for more independent exploration.

The special offer for 2015 also includes two hours of complimentary Wi-Fi per guest, per day, and unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi for guests in the line’s larger suites (Medallion and higher categories).

The new inclusions are in addition to Silversea’s customary amenities, such as butler service for all suites and a range of wines, champagnes, premium spirits, soft drinks, bottled water and specialty coffees. Guests can have an in-suite bar stocked with their preferred beverages and also enjoy in-suite dining options, onboard gratuities (except for the spa) and roundtrip transportation into the centers of most ports of call.

“We're delighted to enhance the value proposition for our guests with the launch of this new ultra-inclusive pricing initiative,” said Kristian Anderson, Silversea's senior vice president and general manager for the Americas. “Our company is known for pioneering the concept of all-inclusive voyaging. By including shore excursions and Wi-Fi in the cruise fare, we’re making the Silversea vacation experience more indulgent and relevant for today's active luxury traveler.”
