Silversea’s first World Cruise to completely circle the globe
will feature an exclusive collection of 22 optional overland
excursions of one to six nights.
Departing Jan. 15, 2007, from Fort Lauderdale, Silver Shadow’s
World Cruise will cross three oceans, seven seas and six
continents, visiting 61 different ports, and conclude in New York
City, on May 22. Throughout the journey, guests of the
award-winning, all-suite line will have the opportunity to
participate in excursions that highlight the culture, flavors and
excitement of the exotic itinerary.
For example, World Cruise guests will be able to walk in the
footsteps of Charles Darwin in the Galapagos Islands; take a scenic
rail journey through the Andes to mystical Machu Picchu; soar over
the Australian Outback in a balloon; visit Bali’s ancient Buddhist
and Hindu temples; or cross the Nile to explore Egypt’s ancient
Valley of the Kings.
Each of the unique overland extensions includes deluxe
accommodations, porterage, all transfers, sightseeing and some
meals. Prices range from $445 to $4,295 per person, double
occupancy.
For guests who prefer shorter tours, Silversea is also offering
over 200 additional optional shore excursions ranging from just a
few hours to a full day, all designed to enhance the World Cruise
experience.
