movie screenings and behind-the-scenes stories of Hollywood,
presented in partnership with Travel + Leisure magazine. -"Voyage
to the Western Lands" departs April 12, 2007 on a 15-day segment
from Dubai to Alexandria with calls in Aqaba, Jordan; Muscat and
Salalah, Oman; Safaga and Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt. Zahi Hawass,
Egypt's secretary general of the supreme council of antiquities,
and the world's foremost Egyptologist, will be on hand to host a
series of fascinating and entertaining presentations. This segment
also features the "Pharaohs and Kings" fantasy event, a magical
entertainment experience designed to give guests a chance to spend
an evening surrounded by the art, culture and artifacts of ancient
Egypt without stepping off the ship.
“The Home Sea” departs April 27, 2007 on an 11-day segment from
Alexandria to Lisbon with calls in Katakolon, Greece; Valencia,
Spain; Sicily, Capri, Sardinia and Rome, Italy. Legendary CBS News
anchor Walter Cronkite will headline the enrichment program with
discussions of his more than 65 years in journalism.
