Silversea Cruises’ next new vessel — Silver Nova — is scheduled to arrive in August 2023, and now the luxury cruise line has drawn back the curtain on all its upcoming venues. Its restaurants were previously previewed, and now the rest of its spaces have been revealed, from its lounges to the spa.
“In addition to her pioneering sustainability credentials, Silver Nova will unlock a new luxury experience for our guests, offering an industry-leading variety of bars, lounges and restaurants with an entirely new design approach for Silversea,” said Barbara Muckermann, president and CEO of Silversea Cruises. “Silver Nova represents a milestone in our strategy to build the perfect ship for every itinerary, with her array of venues enhancing the guest experience to a new level.”
Joining classic venues such as a triple-decker atrium, a casino, a boutique and Silversea’s signature Arts Cafe and other bars, will be the following new and returning spaces.
The Dolce Vita Lounge
At the heart of Silver Nova will be its Dolce Vita lounge on deck five for pre- and post-dinner beverages and socializing between meals. A central bar will be joined by a performance area for enrichment activities by day and piano entertainment by night.
The Venetian Lounge
A two-story Venetian Lounge show space on decks four and five will have capacity for 370 guests. The venue will host the bulk of the ship’s enrichment and entertainment, including live theater and musical performances, movie screenings and other events such as lectures throughout the day. Seating will encompass both cabaret-style chairs with tables as well as traditional balconies.

A place for drinks before or after dinner at the adjacent Atlantide and S.A.L.T. Kitchen, The Shelter on deck three will be a new space for intimate nighttime gatherings of up to 32 people. It will feature “a wrap-around bottle display with integrated strips of lighting for a modern aesthetic,” according to the line.
The Connoisseur’s Corner
The Connoisseur’s Corner will be newly laid out and enlarged for 35 guests to enjoy cigars and cocktails on deck five. It will be lined with panoramic windows and have an outdoor section.
The Observation Lounge
An Observation Lounge will offer uninterrupted views at the front of the ship from deck 10. Floor-to-ceiling windows will provide 270-degree views in a bigger 2,761-square-foot venue for up to 115 guests. Silver Nova's library will be housed here, offering guests curated reading selections.

Indoor and outdoor seating will accommodate up to 42 patrons. And S.A.L.T. Lab will also be on deck 10, serving as the ship’s larger test kitchen and inviting guests to learn about cooking destination-centric foods from several stations, this time with views to the outside.
