Holland America Line and Regent Seven Seas have unveiled new opportunities for world cruises taking place over the next few years, with the former offering extended “Legendary Voyages,” and the latter introducing its longest-ever world cruise for 2026.

Holland America Line’s Legendary Voyages

This year, as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations, Holland America Line is expanding its existing Grand Voyages, world cruises with Legendary Voyages that add in “itineraries featuring a comprehensive collection of ports that enrich the experience in each destination,” according to the brand.

Sailings range in length from 25 to 59 days, and most conveniently depart roundtrip or to or from a North American homeport. Destinations encompass Australia and New Zealand; the Amazon and South America; the South Pacific and Hawaii; Greenland and Iceland; along with Asia, Alaska and the Arctic Circle.

“As the leader in long itineraries, Holland America Line is excited to continue to connect our deployment and onboard programming to further enrich the guest experience,” said Kacy Cole, vice president of marketing and e-commerce for Holland America Line. “The destination-rich itineraries found on Legendary Voyages are carefully crafted to allow guests to linger longer and enjoy the journey, as well as the destination. With many departures from North America, this creates yet another way for our guests to see the world from their doorstep.”

Onboard these special sailings, guests can expect everything from classic cruise activities and sail-aways to theme parties and cultural and historical destination-centric programming.

Itineraries are intentionally focused on a singular region while extensively exploring unique ports, including overnights in Anchorage, Alaska; Hobart, Tasmania; Honolulu, Hawaii; Manaus, Brazil; Moorea, French Polynesia; Papeete, Tahiti; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Yokohama (Tokyo) and Kobe, Japan.

Among the featured Legendary Voyages are three that are entirely new to Holland America Line: a 28-day “Arctic Circle Solstice” route that reaches the Arctic Circle and makes 11 calls in Alaska (including in Nome and Homer); a 53-day “Majestic Japan” circuit including 21 ports, 13 of which are in Japan itself; and a 28-day “Coral Triangle, Volcanoes and the Great Barrier Reef” sailing that reaches 10 destinations in five countries and showcases the Great Barrier Reef, the Torres Strait and Kumba and Krakatau volcanoes.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ 154-Night World Cruise

Meanwhile, luxury line Regent Seven Seas Cruises is already gearing up for its 2026 world cruise, dubbed “The Sense of Adventure,” lasting a whopping 154 nights onboard Seven Seas Mariner. The voyage is scheduled to embark on Jan. 10, 2026, roundtrip from Miami, and includes 431 complimentary shore excursions in 41 countries over six continents.

“Luxury travelers want to travel further afield and for longer durations, which is why we are excited to announce our newest and longest World Cruise for 2026,” said Andrea DeMarco, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “The Sense of Adventure appeals to those who desire just that — over 154 nights of unforgettable experiences where guests will travel to the far-flung reaches of the globe. Our world cruise guests will enjoy unmatched personalized service, impeccable hospitality, the sumptuous comfort of our all-suite, all-balcony accommodations and an extensive list of inclusions that provide every luxury.”

The voyage will navigate a total of 39,722 nautical miles and head to 77 ports of call, three of which are entirely new to Regent: Lifou Island and Mare of the Loyalty Islands in New Caledonia, as well as Waingapu (Sumba), Indonesia. There will be 16 overnight stays and 47 UNESCO World Heritage Sites showcased, such as the Monastery of Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve in Praslin, Seychelles; Robben Island in Cape Town, South Africa; and the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, Australia.

Specific shore excursions that are free to guests and exclusive to the 2026 world cruise include “A Taste of History at the Battleship Missouri” in Honolulu, Hawaii; “Across the Archipelago Dinner at Garuda Wisnu Kencana” in Bali, Indonesia; and “Passport to Portuguese Flavor at Convento do Beato” in Lisbon, Portugal.

Additional all-inclusive amenities extend to a one-night, pre-cruise luxury hotel stay in Miami; a pre-cruise gala event; first-class airfare; door-to-door luggage service; unlimited valet laundry, dry cleaning and pressing; in-suite phone time; a commemorative gift; medical services; a visa package; and premium beverages.
