Italy's award-winning Il Sereno Lago di Como hotel has reopened for the 2025 season with several notable additions to its luxury offerings on Lake Como.

The Patricia Urquiola-designed property has introduced a Listening Suite that merges music and design in a new hospitality concept.

Inspired by Japan's listening rooms, the soundproof suite features rare 1940s audio equipment, bespoke walnut furnishings and a curated vinyl collection from owner Luis Contreras. The 200-square-meter space offers lake views, private water access and can function as overnight accommodations or an exclusive venue for private dining and events.

For clients seeking distinctive transportation experiences, Il Sereno has expanded its offerings with vintage car tours through lakeside villages and exclusive yacht options. Guests can choose between guided excursions with an expert skipper or self-drive wooden motorboats from Ernesto Riva. The hotel's vehicle collection includes a Vespa APE, Fiat 500, Fiat Topolino and three Maseratis.

On the culinary front, Michelin-starred restaurant Sereno Al Lago unveils executive chef Raffaele Lenzi's new "A Modo Mio" (My Way) menu featuring vegetables and creative reinterpretations of traditional dishes. The restaurant is also launching Andata/Ritorno, a series of exclusive culinary events beginning March 29 with Michelin-starred chef Carlo Cracco.

Every room and suite at Il Sereno features floor-to-ceiling windows with direct lake views and Italian furnishings from designers including Cassina, Moroso and B&B Italia.
